Consultation Appointments are available to NU faculty who have completed the Blackboard Faculty Foundations course.

Appointments with OTLS are available virtually. General topics we can to assist with include:

  • Grade Center

  • Virtual Class Meetings

  • Editing Course Content

  • Creating and Embedding Videos

  • Setting up Retention Center

  • Working with Rubrics

  • ePortfolio (Portfolium)

  • Working with SafeAssign

  • Using the Course Calendar

  • Encouraging Student Engagement

  • Using Student-Student Collaborative Tools (wikis, blogs, groups, peer assessment)

  • Teaching Adult Learners

  • Encouraging Growth Mindset

Eligibility Requirements

Successful completion of the NU Faculty Foundations Course.

Virtual:  via Blackboard Collaborate (a link will be provided to you)
